You may not realize it, but our Hans & Franz/Acts 10 Gym skits have roots deep in Christian tradition, specifically the concept of the Holy Fool. The Holy Fool was a religious figure who communicated profound truth through non-conventional behavior. The Eastern Orthodox Church was/is particularly big on Holy Fools. The Holy Fool could get away with saying things that would get others in hot water. If you’re interested in learning more, Google this genuinely interesting topic.
If you’ve missed any of the ACTS 10 GYM videos, they are posted on the website: www.standrewsomaha.net. .
