I Timothy 6:11-12
But as for you, man of God…pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life, to which you were called and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Just as I’m ready to send this, my brother-in-law has called from Houston to say that my little grand-nephew, the prematurely born child I talked about in the sermon week before last, had died in the night. Spend 99 cents on the Natalie Grant song, HELD, download it to I-Tunes, and ask God to hold little John Allen, his parents, grandparents and great-grandmother very, very close.
